A Stock Solution is a concentrated solution that will be diluted to some lower concentrated for actual use. Advantages Stock solutions are used to save preparation time, conserve materials, reduce storage space, and improve the accuracy with which working lower concentration solutions are prepared.

1. It is a solution which is highly concentrated and should be diluted using water or other stock solutions to make up working solutions with which we actually work.

2. Stock solutions are less time consuming because it reduces the preparation time of the working solution, it also increases the accuracy of the working solution. Since the solution is prepared in a bulk and its diluted only when a working solution is required to be used it does not take up much of the laboratory's space

1)A stock solution is a large volume of a common reagent at a standardized concentration (a solution to be diluted to some lower concentration for actual use.)

2) Stock solutions can save a lot of time, conserve materials, reduce needed storage space, and improve the accuracy with which we prepare solutions and reagents.

1) A stock solution is a large volume of a common reagent with a standard concentration. (normally a stock solution is a concentrated solution and we dilute a certain volume of the stock solution (working solution) to carry out a reaction)

2) Stock solutions are less time consuming since it reduces preparation time for the same solution over an over again. stock solution can also increase the accuracy of the working solution and It also only needs a lesser space for storage.

2.There are many advantages of maintaining stock solution. some of them are listed below,
-Save preparation time
-Conserve materials
-Reduce storage space
-Improve the accuracy
